A Brief Biography of American Novelist David Baldacci


Since 2014, Keyvan Azami has served as the head of fixed-income derivatives trading technology at Bloomberg LP in New York City. In his free time, Keyvan Azami enjoys playing soccer and tennis, listening to music, and reading. He lists David Baldacci among his favorite authors. 

Born in Virginia in 1960, David Baldacci is a best-selling novelist who practiced law for nine years before publishing his first novel, Absolute Power, in 1996. The book was very well received and went on to spawn a feature film starring Clint Eastwood. 

Since writing Absolute Power, Baldacci has published 32 novels for adults and six novels for young readers. In addition to writing novels, he has produced several screenplays and served as a contributing editor for Parade magazine. His next novel will hit bookstores in early 2017. 

Outside of his work as a writer, Baldacci is a dedicated philanthropist who has helped raise money for various organizations, including the American Cancer Society, the Barbara Bush Foundation for Literacy, and the Wish You Well Foundation. He has also served as a National Ambassador for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
